ALTERNATIVE’24, passionately commemorates World Environment Day 2024 with the theme 'Youth for Green and Vibrant Bengaluru'. This initiative seeks to harness the voices and actionable stories of College/University students from Bengaluru through an engaging video competition. Our aim is to inspire Bangaloreans and citizens nationwide to embrace ecological, behavioral, and cultural shifts towards sustainable urban planning. We advocate for collective social responsibilities and civic sense, recognizing them as crucial elements for a sustainable future. Through this initiative, we aim to cultivate responsible citizenship by actively engaging youth, from individuals to policymakers, in raising awareness on environmental conservation actions. By focusing on creating sustainable cities and mitigating climate change, we believe in a bottom-up approach that empowers individuals to drive positive change at all levels of society.

We aim to empower the youth to inspire fellow Bengalureans and citizens across the nation. This year, climate change awareness, aiming behavioral and cultural shifts, cultivating responsible Citizens. engaging policy makers in raising awareness on environmental conservation, and contributing to the creation of sustainable cities.
